For outstanding performance in patient experience in the hospital’s behavioral health service

Brandon, FL — January 6, 2020 — Brandon Regional Hospital is proud to announce it has been named a 2019 Guardian of Excellence® winner by Press Ganey. The Guardian of Excellence Award recognizes top-performing health care organizations that have achieved the 95th percentile or above in Patient Experience.

Brandon Regional Hospital’s Behavioral Health service is the only inpatient program in eastern and southern Hillsborough County. This 25-bed, dedicated setting provides specialized care to help patients who have behavioral health symptoms that are interfering with their daily lives. The hospital is also a Baker Act receiving facility.

The Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award is a nationally recognized symbol of achievement in healthcare. Presented annually, the award honors clients who consistently sustained performance in the top 5% of Press Ganey clients for each reporting period during the course of the year.
