BRANDON - - (August 26, 2010) - - Talking to teens about sex is hard!  Many parents struggle with how to approach and what to say.  Brandon Regional Hospital, Jill Hechtman, M.D. and Leslie Clark, RN will offer a program for your teens on September 1, 2010 at the Oakfield Medical Plaza, Classroom B, Suite 260, at 6:30 p.m.

“Parents have difficulty discussing this topic with their children and may not know how to answer their questions and teens may have questions that they do not want to ask their parents,” states Dr. Jill Hechtman.  “We are offering this discussion so your children can feel free to ask their questions from medical professionals.”

The program will focus on topics such as abstinence, pregnancy, safe sex, contraceptives and STD’s.  Parents can call (813)653-1065 to register and to receive the parental consent.
